Over 670 songs were submitted for the fifth round of the song contest “Dein Song für EINE WELT!” (Your song for ONE WORLD). The 23 winning songs are now professionally produced on the EINE WELT album Vol. 5. What makes it special is that the songs, composed and written by children, teenagers and young adults aged between ten and 25, are passionately and creatively dedicated to urgent global issues and challenges of our time. Of course, the current ONE WORLD song “Kinder der Welt” (Children of the World) by Shayla Jolie & Filo is also included.
The album impresses with a wide variety of genres - from catchy pop and rock to sensitive classical music, socially critical rap and ballads that are guaranteed to give you goosebumps. The album gives young people a voice and the opportunity to stand up for their concerns and for living together in a fairer and more peaceful world.
“Each song has its own character. And that's what makes the individual preparation and private coaching for our young artists all the more important,” says Rico Schwibs, project manager of the song contest. Over the past weeks and months, all the songs have been professionally recorded by Kreuzberger Musikalische Aktion e.V.
